The Danish Science Festival
“All children in Denmark should at least once a year be encouraged to explore, understand and change the world through science and technology”. That is the aim of Danish Science Week. Each year, Danish Science Week focuses on a particular theme that serves as a guide for how schools can select activities. In 2014 the theme is “The road to future”.
Danish Science Festival collaborates with numerous organizations, foundations, businesses and ministries to create engaging science experiences for children and adolescents, orgnized by Danish Science factory.
The festival lasts a week, where 39 schools, secondary schools, libraries, museums, nature centers, companies dedicate anywhere from a few hours to a whole week to focus on science.
